Cookies and Google Analytics notice

Purpose

Asoke Skin Hospital uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate page-visit counts and patterns and to maintain and improve this knowledge website. Analytics is not used to display advertising, personalize advertising, or create individual health profiles.

Data sent when you accept

When you accept, the site code sends a page_view event with the technical and page-context information GA4 uses to produce aggregate reports. When the Google tag operates, GA4 inherently collects first_visit, session_start, and user_engagement. Enhanced Measurement is disabled, so the site is not configured to collect scrolling, outbound-link clicks, searches, video activity, form submissions, or file downloads. Page location uses only the site's known canonical route instead of an arbitrary visitor-supplied pathname. Referrer data is reduced to its origin, with no path, query string, or fragment.

• Technical browser, device, screen-size, and approximate-location information produced by GA4.
• The network request necessarily sends the visitor's IP address to Google for delivery and approximate-location derivation. This site does not receive or store the full IP address from GA4 reports.
• Random identifiers in analytics cookies that distinguish visits and sessions.

Data the site does not intend to send

This configuration does not send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, form contents, User-ID, or user-provided data to Google Analytics. The site creates no custom events about symptoms, diagnoses, or contacting the hospital.

Cookies and when the Google tag starts

When you accept or reject, the site creates a strictly necessary cookie named ash_psoriasis_analytics_consent that stores only granted or denied for 180 days. This cookie remembers your choice and is separate from Google Analytics cookies. The site does not load the Google tag, contact Google Analytics, or create Google Analytics cookies before you accept. If you accept, GA4 may create first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> to distinguish browsers and sessions. Accessible GA cookies are configured for no more than 180 days without rolling refresh, are limited to the current canonical host, and use Secure and SameSite=Lax. The site removes accessible GA cookies when consent is rejected or withdrawn, or when the saved-choice cookie has expired and the site is visited again.

Your choices and withdrawal

You can accept or reject analytics. Rejecting does not affect access to the content. To change your choice, select “Cookie settings” in the page footer. If you withdraw consent, the site stops future collection and attempts to remove the Google Analytics cookies it can access. Withdrawal does not automatically erase aggregate data sent earlier.

Retention

This GA4 property is configured for two months of event-level data retention. Aggregate reports and information Google holds in backup systems may be subject to Google's separate retention periods and terms.
